Thai Gold Pure Coconut Oil is extracted from the finest Thai coconuts, producing a high quality oil that is not hydrogenated, contains no trans fats and maintains stability with a long shelf life. This pure coconut oil has been deodorised to remove the flavour and smell of coconut, allowing foods to be cooked without the flavour of coconut in the finished dish. When used as a cooking oil, pure coconut oil has a smoke point in excess of 220°C and is thus suitable for all culinary uses including stir-frying. Thai Gold Pure Coconut Oil contains over 90% saturated fat, with the majority of this fat in the form of the medium chain fatty acids Lauric Acid, Capric Acid and Caprylic Acid. Coconut Oil also contains the long chain fatty acids Myristic Acid, Palmitic Acid and Oleic Acid.
